Christmas

We had a really happy Christmas this year, despite Will being on call Christmas Eve into Christmas (poor guy). Will's family has a tradition of getting each other new pajamas for Christmas that they open on Christmas Eve, so we decided that December 23rd would be our Christmas Eve and opened them when I got home from work.

Please excuse the scrubs and the tired face; we had a busy day on the 23rd!

We actually ended up getting each other matching pajamas (Lands End strikes again!) and so renewed the tradition of a Christmastime matching picture.

That's a lot of plaid!

On real Christmas Eve, I kept myself busy cleaning, doing laundry, and having lunch with a friend and then around noon on Christmas, Will (finally) came home. We had sweet rolls for breakfast, opened presents, and just generally lazed around.

Can anyone guess the theme of my Christmas presents this year?

In the evening, we made dinner (including Will's favorite rolls), and used our good china for the first time.

Please note our sweet lace curtains, ca. 1954

Before the bread, the mill...

Look at us, being fancy...

On Friday night, we drove up to Logan to see Will's grandparents and other family members. Logan had even more snow on the ground than we do down here. Also, Logan now has cute puppies! We were happy to visit Ginger's new puppies, they are still very new but also very cute.

That's all ten puppies, having a late lunch

Ginger is a very attentive mother.

And finally, a video of the cuteness. Prepare yourself for the cuddling. Oh, the puppy cuddling!

Oh, there is nothing cuter than puppy cuddling. Have you heard of cuteoverload.com? Jake and I visit that website whenever we're having a bad day.

Hope you had a great Christmas--looks like you did.

By the way, congrats on Stanford. That will be so much fun to live in that area. Reed, Adrienne, and Dan all loved their time there.
